Terms of Service

Effective date: October 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Supperz mobile application, supperz.com, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].

1. Using Supperz

Supperz provides meal planning, recipe, grocery, cooking, preference, synchronization, and related features. The features available to you may vary by device, platform, region, account status, subscription status, and app version.

You may use Supperz only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Accounts

Some features may require a Supperz account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the security of your account and devices, and for activity that occurs through your account.

You must not share credentials in a way that compromises the security of the Service or use another person's account without authorization.

You should contact us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may use third-party authentication providers. Your use of those providers is also subject to their own terms and policies.

3. Your content and personal library

You may create, upload, save, import, or synchronize content through Supperz, including custom recipes, photos, notes, ratings, feedback, grocery information, and other personal library data ("User Content").

You retain ownership of User Content that you own.

You grant Supperz a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve the Service, or as otherwise permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to provide any User Content you submit and that your User Content does not violate applicable law or the rights of another person.

You are responsible for maintaining copies of User Content that is important to you. Although Supperz may provide synchronization, backups, exports, or recovery features, we do not guarantee that any particular item of User Content can always be recovered.

4. Recipe, nutrition, allergy, and food safety information

Supperz is a meal planning and cooking tool. It is not a medical service and does not provide medical, nutritional, dietetic, or other professional health advice.

Recipe, ingredient, nutrition, dietary, allergy, serving, cooking-time, and similar information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your individual circumstances.

You are responsible for checking ingredients, product labels, allergen information, dietary restrictions, food preparation requirements, cooking temperatures, food storage, cross-contamination risks, and other safety considerations before preparing or consuming food.

Do not rely on Supperz as the sole source of information about allergies, intolerances, medical diets, pregnancy-related restrictions, food safety, or other health-related needs. Seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional when needed.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • upload malicious code or interfere with the security or operation of the Service;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • circumvent access controls, usage restrictions, or security measures;
  • scrape, harvest, systematically copy, or extract substantial portions of the Service or its content except as permitted by law or with our written permission;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law;
  • use automated means to overload, disrupt, or abuse the Service;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization; or
  • use the Service in a manner that could harm Supperz, other users, or third parties.

6. Supperz content and intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, interfaces, text, graphics, databases, compilation, and other content provided by Supperz, is owned by or licensed to Supperz and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own lawful purposes.

This license does not give you ownership of the Service or permission to commercially exploit, redistribute, reproduce in bulk, sell, sublicense, or create unauthorized derivative products from protected Supperz content.

Third-party names, trademarks, content, and services remain the property of their respective owners. Reference to a third party does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement unless expressly stated.

7. Third-party services

Supperz may rely on or link to third-party services, including authentication providers, cloud services, app stores, payment providers, analytics providers, content delivery services, and external websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Availability of a third-party service may affect features of Supperz, and we may change providers or integrations over time.

8. Paid features and subscriptions

Supperz may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other purchases now or in the future.

If you purchase through an app store or another third-party payment provider, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund processing may be handled by that provider and subject to its terms.

Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial terms, and included features will be shown before purchase where required.

If a subscription automatically renews, you must cancel it through the applicable account or store settings before the renewal deadline to avoid future charges, subject to applicable law and the terms shown at purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, or consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service over time.

We may release updates that are required for security, compatibility, synchronization, or continued operation. Older versions may eventually stop working with online services.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device, platform, or region.

10. Availability and backups

We work to keep Supperz available and reliable, but the Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, provider failures, internet connectivity, device limitations, software bugs, security events, or other circumstances.

Cloud synchronization and backup features reduce some risks but do not eliminate the possibility of data loss or conflicts. You should maintain independent copies of important information where appropriate.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Supperz Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described in that policy.

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, comments, or other feedback about Supperz, you give us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your separately identifiable User Content.

We may use feedback to improve recipes, features, interfaces, documentation, support, or other aspects of the Service.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Supperz at any time. Where account deletion is available, you may delete your account using the methods provided by the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Service if we reasonably believe you have materially violated these Terms, created a security risk, used the Service unlawfully, or caused harm to the Service or others.

We may also discontinue the Service or an account feature for legitimate business, legal, security, or technical reasons.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and disputes, will survive.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not make warranties or guarantees that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, suitable for every purpose, or that recipes, nutritional information, recommendations, search results, synchronization, backups, or other content will always be accurate, complete, or available.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Supperz and those involved in providing the Service will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Supperz for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Supperz harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material breach of these Terms, or User Content that infringes the rights of another person.

This section does not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable consumer law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of the jurisdiction where you live.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Supperz evolves, our business practices change, or legal requirements change.

If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and provide any notice required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.

The current version of these Terms will be available at https://supperz.com/terms/.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for a specific feature or purchase, form the agreement governing your use of the Service.
